A comprehensive new volume documenting the history, culture, and traditions of the Mountain Jews was officially presented at Azerbaijan’s National Library. The book represents years of scholarly research and features rare archival photographs, personal testimonies, and historical documents.

The author, a prominent historian specializing in Caucasian Jewish communities, presented findings that shed new light on the ancient origins and cultural evolution of the Mountain Jews. The book traces their journey from ancient Persia through the Caucasus to their current communities in Azerbaijan and Israel.

The presentation attracted academics, community members, students, and cultural enthusiasts. Speakers praised the work as an essential contribution to preserving Mountain Jewish heritage for future generations.

The book is published in Russian and will be translated into Azerbaijani, English, and Hebrew. Copies will be distributed to libraries and educational institutions across Azerbaijan and internationally.
